Leif Erikson day flag raising in the town of Islip with the town supervisor holding a commemorative plaque. This is an annual event started by our dear departed brother Alfred Carlson on the far right.	At our Christmas party 1997 is Asbjorn Lageraaen holding his Grandson Patrick Tomas, flanked by his wife Margaret and son Paul the proud papa. By the way, Patrick Tomas may be the youngest member of the Sons of Norway.

The high game for our team was Fran with a 197 and Odd was second with a 171.
